Clear cut PHOCUS |
PHOCUS Caffeinated Water
2016: We were asked by US drinks start up, ClearCut to develop a caffeinated sparkling water.
We conducted an extensive review of the market landscape. Tasting all other caffeinated waters and looking for an edge.
Drawing upon our experience working with tea and functional extracts to propose a unique combination of Caffeine and L-Theanine derived from tea to deliver a best in class nootropic functional product and a first to market advantage.
Beta tested our liquids overcoming sensory challenges associated with functional ingredient delivery working from a range of 12 flavour concepts to 5 launch flavours.
Simultaneously overseeing the branding development with our client and the Phocus brand was born.
Commercialised the recipes, sourced a production partner and oversaw the initial productions completing the initial phase.
2017: Launch : Unflavoured, Yuzu & Lime, Blood Orange, Pink Grapefruit and Cucumber.
2018: Developed Peach variant.
2019: Further development of new variants.
